One of the most versatile wines Jessup Cellars makes is our Los Carneros Pinot Noir. This 2016 release is a special representation of how good Pinot Noir can be when treated right from vineyard to bottle. Coming from the Truchard family down in the Los Carneros, the beautiful fruit we use to make this wine is some of our finest. Ripe red fruits dominate the glass as the smells of strawberry, cherry, and pomegranate fill the olfactory. Once you get familiar with the fruit you start to notice these other fine layers of vanilla and smoke that create for not only an interesting aromatic but phenomenal taste. The palate of this wine is silky smooth and has enough backbone to be a perfect food pairing choice. Enjoy with Thanksgiving dinner, truffle risotto, or smoked duck breast.
